Dean Trust Rose Bridge is responsible for all its own admissions although the co-ordination of admissions arrangements into Year 7 is undertaken by Wigan Local Authority.
All unsuccessful applicants will have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel in accordance with the Education Act 1993.
Parents who have been unsuccessful in their application for a place at Dean Trust Rose Bridge for Year 7 entry must indicate their wish to appeal and can obtain a form online or directly from the attendance office at school.
All appeals must be lodged no later than 31st March 2019.
Appeals lodged will be heard during the month of June 2019.
All appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing.
All appellants will be sent a copy of the school’s case a reasonable time before the date of the hearing.
As you will see, our pupils have been presented in the new Dean Trust Rose Bridge uniform, effective from September 2019.
All existing pupils and new intake will be provided with a new, free of charge (in the first year), uniform prior to September and items will include: a badged maroon blazer, new school tie, grey pinafore dress for girls or black trousers for boys, and a full maroon/black PE kit (top and shorts). All existing black blazers can be donated back to school and recycled to suitable charities.
