The general equality duty, located in the Equality Act 2011, requires public authorities, in the exercise of their functions, to have due regard to the need to:

  • Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation and any other conduct that is prohibited by or under the Act;
  • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a relevant protected characteristic and people who do not share it; and to
  • Foster good relations between people who share a relevant protected characteristic and those who do not share it.

We take equality extremely importantly here at Dean Trust Rose Bridge and do our utmost to ensure all opportunities and spaces are both accessible and available for all – regardless of personal circumstances, disabilities or any other possible barrier. Applications for Year 7 (September 2022 Intake)

Our Open Evening took place on Thursday 16th September. If you were unable to attend, or wish to visit again during the school day, please contact the school office on 01942 510712 to arrange a tour from a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Please also take the time to watch many of the videos we’ve had produced to support in making this important decision on secondary school application.

Miss Cropper (Head of School) and Mr Walsh (Assistant Headteacher) will be at Ince Community Centre at 9am on Friday 1st October should you have any questions you’d like answering.
