Remote Learning

Home / Remote Learning

The continuity of our pupils’ learning is of the utmost importance to us. We utilise Google Classroom to achieve this, with a blended learning approach to curriculum continuity. Staff will provide a variety of resources to support the learning of pupils, including…

  • Pre-recorded lesson content
  • Live Q+A Sessions
  • Electronic resources to access
  • Links to external providers
  • Assignment pieces via instruction

Staff will provide feedback and interaction with pupils as per our usual school policies and pupils are able to quickly contact teachers via the ‘private comment’ function of Classroom. As of February 2021, all families have been contacted and provided with a device and internet dongle if they were without, so that all have access. For those still encountering some difficulty, paper copies of all work are available to be collected from school (8am-4pm daily).

Please watch the video, or access the support guide below, if you or your child are encountering any difficulties with Google Classroom.
